The Waiver Wire tool identifies the best available fantasy basketball pickups by calculating a “waiver value” that weighs production against estimated roster ownership. Players who produce well but are widely available score highest -- these are the hidden gems you should target.
Use the ownership filter to show only players below a certain roster percentage. Set it to 50% to find players rostered in less than half of leagues -- these are realistic waiver targets in most formats.
A streamer is a player worth picking up for a short period (usually a week) when they have a favorable schedule, but not necessarily a long-term roster hold. Drop them when their upcoming games are less favorable.
Roster percentage is estimated from scoring averages. Players averaging 20+ PPG are in ~95% of leagues, 15-20 PPG in ~75%, 12-15 in ~50%, and so on. Actual ownership varies by league size and format.
