A three-level scorer can hurt you from anywhere on the court: at the rim (high FG%), from the midrange and three-point line (high 3P%), and at the free throw line (high FT%). This versatility makes them nearly impossible to game-plan against because there is no area of the court where they are weak.
The rarest and most valuable scorers combine all three levels with high volume. Players who shoot above league average from every zone while maintaining 20+ PPG are the most difficult offensive players to slow down in a playoff series.
A three-level scorer is efficient from all three scoring zones: at the rim (FG%), from beyond the arc (3P%), and at the free throw line (FT%). All three percentages should be above league average.
