The Draft Grade Analyzer evaluates each team's recent draft selections based on how those players have performed. Each pick gets an individual grade based on the player's current production level, and the overall team grade is the average across all picks.
Grades consider current per-game statistics as the primary metric of draft success. An A+ pick is producing star-level numbers, while a D represents a pick that hasn't panned out yet. Browse all 30 teams to see which front offices have drafted the best talent in recent years.
Individual grades are based on the player's current per-game production. Players averaging 25+ PPG earn an A+, 20+ PPG earns an A, and so on. This measures the draft outcome based on actual NBA performance.
The current model grades picks based on absolute production. Future updates may incorporate draft position to evaluate value relative to where a player was selected.
The tool evaluates the last 5 draft classes (2020-2024). This gives enough time for picks to develop while remaining relevant to current team-building trajectories.
